Dimapur, Sep. 5 (EMN): Commemorating the 25 glorious years of Mulujempong Zünga Soyim, a Covid-19 sensitisation programme was held at Babu Tzübu Amphitheatre in Ungma village under MOkokchung district on September 4.

Addressing the participants, Dr. Temsuyanger, ZLO and nodal officer of DMHP Mokokchung, lauded the achievement of 90% Covid vaccination in Ungma and encouraged to strive for 100% vaccination, an update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung stated on Saturday.

He stated that a sound mind, active body, proper diet and a well structured daily routine could help one to recover from the infection. He further presented data in connection to Covid infection, death, recovery in Mokokchung district and presented the effectiveness of Covid vaccine.

He further also stressed on the SOP in relation to dead body handling and encouraged strict observance of SOP in day-to-day activities even after vaccination.

In the second session, Dr. BM Sunep, chief veterinary officer of Mokokchung, spoke on “How to stay healthy” based on health is wealth. He spoke on the importance of cultural values, worldview- secular/ geo-Christian view and its contribution to staying healthy as well as boosting a healthy environment.

It mentioned that village council, church members and NGOs participated in the sensitisation programme.
