Nagaland records 60 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

Dimapur, July 30 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally increased to 27,713 as 60 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported on Friday.
The state also reported five deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s death toll to 547 while the state’s recoveries increased to 25,098 after 75 more patients recovered.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 60 new cases detected on Friday, Kohima reported the highest with 21, followed by Dimapur at 13, six in Mokokchung, five in Wokha, four in Peren, three in Mon, and two each in Longleng, Phek, Tuensang and Zunheboto.
The state also recorded 75 recoveries wherein 30 were in Mokokchung, 19 in Dimpaur, 16 in Kohima, five in Mon, two each in Longleng and Wokha, and one in Tuensang.
Nagaland currently has 1,274 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1027 are asymptomatic, 173 mild, 36 moderate on oxygen, 23 severe on oxygen, four in ICU without ventilator, and 11 in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 483 patients, 385 in Dimapur, 207 in Mokokchung, 39 in Peren, 36 in Mon, 34 in Tuensang, 25 in Phek, 23 in Wokha, 21 in Kiphire, 13 in Longleng, and eight in Zunheboto.
