Nagaland records 67 new Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths

Dimapur, July 29 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally increased to 27,653 as 67 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported on Thursday.
The state also reported four deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s death toll to 542 while the state’s recoveries increased to 25,023 after the recovery of 113 more patients.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 67 new cases detected on Thursday, Dimapur reported highest infections with 25, followed by Kohima with 14, Mokokchung- 10, Phek- 5, Tuensang- 5, Mon- 4, Wokha- 3, and Longleng- 1.
The state also recorded 113 recoveries, out of which 38 were in Kohima, 30 in Mokokchung, 23 in Dimapur, 17 in Longleng, and five in Tuensang.
Nagaland currently has 1,299 active Covid-19 cases wherein 1053 are asymptomatic, 176 mild, 37 moderate on oxygen, 21 severe on oxygen, seven in ICU without ventilator and five in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 482 patients, 393 in Dimapur, 231 in Mokokchung, 37 in Peren, 38 in Mon, 34 in Tuensang, 23 in Phek, 21 each in Wokha and Kiphire, 13 in Longleng, and six in Zunheboto.
