Dimapur, July 25 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported 68 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total caseload to 27,308. According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima reported 25 cases, 15 each in Dimapur and Mokokchung, 10 in Peren, one each in Kiphire, Mon and Longleng.
Meanwhile, 85 recoveries were also recorded in the last 24 hours, out of which 51 were in Kohima, 17 in Dimapur, 11 in Mokokchung, four in Kiphire and two in Peren.
The death toll stands at 528 with four deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
India reports 39k cases
India reported 39,742 coronavirus infections on Sunday taking the total tally of Covid-19 cases to 3,13,71,901, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 4,20,551 with 535 fresh fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.
It said that 3,05,43,138 people have recovered from Covid-19 while 39,972 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
Cumulatively,43,31,50,864 vaccine doses have been administered through 52,72,431 sessions while 51,18,210 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
