Nagaland reports 106 fresh Covid-19 cases; 4 deaths

Dimapur, July 18 (EMN):
Nagaland reported 106 positive Covid-19 cases on Sunday, pushing the total active tally to 1149.

According to data provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, Dimapur recorded 39 cases, Kohima 33, Mokokchung 15, Phek seven, Longleng six, Peren four, one each in Tuensang and Wokha.

Meanwhile, the state also recorded 56 recoveries in the last 24 hours, out of which 15 were from Mokokchung, 11 from Dimapur, 10 from Wokha, six from Kohima, five from Peren, four from Kiphire, three from Phek and two from Longleng.

Furthermore, the Covid death toll stands at 514, with four deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

India reports 41k new cases

 India on Sunday recorded 41,157 new coronavirus cases, taking the infection tally to 3, 11, 06, 065, according to data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Meanwhile, the death toll climbed to 4, 13, 609 with 518 more fatalities reported on Sunday.

It said that 42,004 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries to 3, 02, 69, 796.

India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed 40 crore while 51, 01, 567 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
