Nagaland records 56 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death on Thursday

Dimapur, June 18 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 56 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 24, 097.

The Health and Family Welfare department updated that out of the 56 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 14 were in Mokokchung, 12 in Kohima, 10 in Dimapur, eight in Peren, four in Mon, three each in Tuensang and Phek, and one each in Wokha and Zunheboto.

Nagaland currently has 2059 active cases, out of which 1866 are asymptomatic, 111 mild, 48 moderate on oxygen, 14 severe on oxygen, 15 in ICU without ventilator, and five in ICU with ventilator.

The state also recorded 362 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 234 were in Dimapur, 45 in Kohima, 29 in Wokha, 19 in Mon, 17 in Mokokchung, five each in Kiphire, Phek and Longleng, one each in Peren, Tuensang and Zunheboto.

The state has registered 20,887 recoveries till date and 453 deaths with one casualty reported in the last 24 hours.
