Nagaland records 192 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths; tally rises to 21215

Dimapur, May 28 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 192 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, pushing the state’s tally to 21215.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the 192 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 61 were in Dimapur, 47 in Tuensang, 26 in Kohima, 25 in Phek, 14 in Zunheboto, five in Peren, four each in Wokha and Mokokchung, three in Longleng, two in Kiphire, and one in Mon.
He added that as many as 134 positive patients – 65 in Dimapur, 38 in Kohima, 11 in Mokokchung, nine in Phek, seven in Peren and four in Zunheboto– recovered during the same period.
The state has currently 4,990 active Covid-19 cases, 15,258 recoveries and 331 deaths, out of which five were reported in the last 24 hours.
