Nagaland records 309 new Covid-19 cases, 13 deaths on Friday

Dimapur, May 21 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 309 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 19,593.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the 309 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 122 were in Dimapur, 113 in Kohima, 22 in Phek, 15 in Mokokchung, 12 in Wokha, 11 in Zunheboto, nine in Tuensang, four in Mon and one in Peren.
He added that, 225 positive patients – 78 in Kohima, 75 in Dimapur, 43 in Mon, 13 in Zunheboto, eight in Wokha, four in Tuensang, three in Phek and one in Kiphire — recovered and 13 patients died during the same period.
The state currently has 4588 active Covid-19 cases and registered 14,149 recoveries and 247 deaths, out of which 11 have been ruled “not Covid-related”.
