Two fresh Covid-19 cases detected in Nagaland; tally stands at 12160

Dimapur, Feb. 8 (EMN): Nagaland recorded two Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 12160.
This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“Two positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Monday); one each in Kohima and Dimapur. And also, 11 patients have recovered; Kohima-9, and one each in Dimapur and Tuensang,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 84 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 81 are asymptomatic and three mild. The state has also recorded 11837 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 58 cases, followed by Dimapur-24 and Peren-2, while Tuensang, Mokokchung, Kiphire, Longleng , Wokha, Phek, Mon and Zunheboto have zero cases.
