One person arrested for smuggling rhino horn in Karbi Anglong

Diphu, Jan. 20 (EMN): Karbi Anglong police arrested one person on Wednesday afternoon at around 2 pm for illegal possession of rhino horn weighing about 390 gram at Dillai, under Dillai Police station of Karbi Anglong in Assam.

According to information provided by the police, the rhino horn was reported meant to be sold at Dimapur in Nagaland.

The apprehended person was identified as Arif Jakaria (27) from Tinsukia village, under Juria police station of Nagaon district.
