Dimapur, Jan. 6 (EMN): Zheri Youth Society of Viswema celebrated its golden jubilee on January 5 with the chairman of Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB), Rüsovil John, as the main speaker.
An update from the union stated that the guest speaker, in his address, urged the youth leaders to maintain absolute integrity and impartiality towards the public besides advising them to respect their elders. He also urged the elders to earn respect by their deeds.
He emphasised the need for small scale industries and encouraged the farmers to cultivate different types of vegetables and sell it to the market to boost their livelihood and economy.
Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, Zale Neikha, who also attended the celebration, congratulated the Zheri Youth Society on attaining 50 years since its inception. He also encouraged the youth to give more importance to work culture.
