Nagaland Covid-19 update: 35 new cases detected; tally rises to 11340

Dimapur, Dec. 5 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 35 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 11,340.

According to information provided by the Health department, 34 cases were from Kohima and one from Kiphire.

It informed that Nagaland currently has 511 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 447 are asymptomatic, 41 mild, 15 moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and seven critical in ICU. The state has also recorded 10,649 recoveries and 65 deaths, out which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 286 cases, followed by Dimapur-145, Tuensang-30, Peren-26, Mon-17, two each in Mokokchung, Kiphire and Wokha and one in Zunheboto, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases.
