Dimapur, Dec. 4 (EMN): In the light of many instances of illegal collection by criminals as tax spanning the length and breadth of Nagaland particularly in Dimapur area, NSCN/GPRN has issue a cautionary notice to all to be on the lookout for imposters.
A NSCN/GPRN’s statement issued by its MIP deputy kilonser, Nikato Pilot Sumi, has informed all concerned to contact its authorised official Maj. Gen. Akaho Zhimo, People’s Army of Nagaland (PAN), Western Division, for any queries. It has cautioned of stern military action against those culprits found guilty of illegal collection without due permission from the authorised official.
It stated that PAN has restrained from taking any punitive action till now despite knowing the criminality of all habitual imposters. While forewarning against any illegal collection, it stated that non-compliance to the order would be treated as a direct challenge and punishable as per the provisions of law to the extent of capital punishment. In the eventuality of any punitive action against imposters, the onus would be on those guilty, it added.
