Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): Phek district conducted review meeting on Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) on November 27 at the District Hospital’s conference hall, Phek.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Phek, stated that performance status of AB-PMJAY of the five empanelled hospital namely District Hospital Phek, CHC Pfutsero, CHC Meluri, CHC Chozuba and PHC Chetheba were presented by the district coordinator during the meeting. It added that the empanelled hospitals highlighted their grievances and issues during the presentation.
In her exhortation, CMO Phek Dr. Vibeituonuo Mepfuo expressed that motivating the village leaders could play a big role in implementing of any scheme. She assured that by mid 2021 all the beneficiaries would be enrolled and also try to register all the deserving beneficiaries under PMJAY.
She also assured to address the grievances and issues raised by the hospitals to the higher ups.
Wethso Lasushe, EAC of Phek Sadar, has acknowledged the medical department for their selfless services in different activities for improving the economic status of the district under different schemes. To make best use of the different schemes at the ground level, he has suggested conducting awareness programmes in the village level.
He further added that the grievances and challenges briefed by the hospitals would be addressed to the deputy commissioner, Phek.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Vethihulu, AB-PMJAY district nodal officer. The meeting was attended by CMO, deputy CMO, EAC of Phek Sadar, MO in-charge of empanelled hospitals, PMAM, DPM NHM, and staff of CMO.
