Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): President of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, and all the rank and file of the party have mourned the demise of its general secretary (central) Thangsat Thangeo. He was assistant in-charge of administration in the NPF central headquarters at the time of his demise.
In a condolence message, Liezietsu has described Thangeo as a very dedicated party worker, a soft-spoken gentleman with a quiet determination, who could be relied upon to successfully complete any activity entrusted to him.
Liezietsu added that he always shouldered his responsibility with a mien of assured confidence without an iota of self-doubt in what he was working for. He was not just a colleague but a brother, friend and a mentor to the younger colleagues, Liezietsu stated. He lamented that in his passing away, the NPF party has lost a sincere, dedicated and competent worker whose position would be difficult to fill.
The party further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant them strength and comfort in their hour of pain and sorrow.
