Dimapur, Nov. 7 (EMN): Vocation department of Modern College, Kohima, organised a national webinar on the topic “Entrepreneurship: Ground Zero Stories” on Saturday with Deep Jyoti Gurung, assistant professor of Commerce from Christ (deemed to be university), Bengaluru.
The webinar was chaired by Roshan Pradhan, alumni (Batch 2020), while Nukchala Jamir, HoD of Vocation, delivered the welcome address, an update from the college informed.
The speaker presented on real time ground stories running social enterprise from a community called Garung Thuk in Arunachal Pradesh and case study on social entrepreneur couple who started the Diphlu River Lodge (DRL), a luxury accommodation facility in Kaziranga National Park in Assam.
The presentation was followed with series of questions from the audience. Altogether, 132 participants attended the webinar.
