Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): The Wokha District Legal Services Authorities (DLSA) conducted an awareness campaign on Fundamental Duties with the theme: “With rights come responsibilities.”
The campaign focused on imposing similar responsibilities on every citizen to protect and improve natural environment including forest, lakes, rivers and wildlife and to have compassion for living creatures, an update informed.
As part of the campaign, the team led by Khrievono Seletsu, secretary of Wokha DLSA along with panel and para legal volunteers planted tree saplings at Mount Tiyi in Wokha on September 12.
Banner on Fundamental Duties was also put up for awareness for trekkers and visitors.
The Tuensang DLSA, Legal Aid Clinic also organised an awareness programme on ‘Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Scheme’ on September 13 at Shamator town.
Altogether 93 people attended the programme.
