Peren DC directs HoDs to create roster for staff; surprise inspection in pipeline
Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, has directed all the HoDs in the district to conduct social work in their respective office premises and also reminded them to work out a roster where 50 per cent of the staff attend office every alternate week as per the new guidelines on lockdown issued by the chief secretary of Nagaland government.
This was informed at the monthly Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting held on September 7 at DC’s Conference Hall, District Hq. Peren under the chairmanship of the DC, an update from DIPR informed.
“Surprise checking from the side of district administration will also be carried out time to time,” the DC told the house.
Dy. CMO Peren, Dr. Lanuakum highlighted the present status of Covid-19 in the district, wherein, he mentioned that a total of 2085 returnees have entered the district so far, out of which 271 are confirmed Covid-positive; and there are two active cases at the designated Covid Hospital, CHC Jalukie, currently.
“Considering the education system of the students as the topmost priority, Additional District Education Officer (ADEO) Peren also apprised the board members about the inconveniences faced by the school students in attending online classes. In regard to this, the DC said that a meeting with the service providers will be convened at the earliest,” read the press release.
The house also discussed in connection with the two-lane road along NH-129 A at the meeting, it informed.
