NFR carried out week-long cleanliness drive

HS Yadav takes part in the cleanliness drive conducted by construction organisation of the NFR.

Dimapur, Aug. 17 (EMN): To mark the Independence Day celebration, the construction organisation of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) carried out a week-long intensive cleanliness drive from August 10 to the 16th.

The cleanliness drive was carried out at colonies, office complexes, toilets and drains in particular. The cleanliness drive was part of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” a massive mass movement that seeks to create a clean India.

An update from senior PRO SK Ojah informed that safety rules were strictly followed as per the guide lines in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. It added that numerous activities were undertaken in all the field units of NFR construction during the intensive cleanliness drive which was actively participated by all employees and officers of NF Railways.

HS Yadav, chief administrative officer of NFR (Construction) took the lead from the front to convey the message of clean railways and clean India, it informed.

Yadav appealed to all employees and officers to implement the vision and philosophy behind ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’ launched by the prime minister of India to maintain hygiene and sanitation in the railway premises. He added that cleanliness and sanitation should not be a one-time activity but should become a part of daily life.
