Schools to resume online classes from August 16 in Nagaland

Kohima, Aug. 15 (EMN): The department of School Education has notified that the phase- IV online education will commence in Nagaland from August 16 till September 24.
A notification issued by the principal director of School Education, Shanavas C, informed that video and audio lessons for class 5 to 12 would be available through Doordarshan Kohima Kendra, All India Radio (AIR) Kohima, Jio TV, YouTube Channel (DoSE Nagaland) and Facebook (School Education, Nagaland) during the stipulated time.
The lessons schedule for various classes can be access from the DoSE online education portal: https://dosenl.in, the notification stated. It also informed that sign language interpretation has been incorporated in the video broadcast for the benefit of children with disabilities.
All the heads of government schools have been directed to ensure that parents of the students are sensitised about the modes of broadcast for students to access the broadcast. They have also been directed to effectively utilise all kinds of resources available in the school so as to benefit all the sections of the society.
Meanwhile, the director also directed the heads of the schools to ensure that all the teachers remain in their place of posting in order to utilise the services for supplementing the tele/ radio online education programme. It further directed them to maintain data of various modes of broadcast and furnish it when asked for.
