Dimapur, May 3 (EMN): Dimapur district health officials on Sunday informed that around 100 people, who were stranded in Dimapur, left for Assam following the neighbouring government’s announcement of unsealing its borders.
One of the healthcare workers said that issuing of medical certificates started on May 2 for those stranded and waiting to go home.
More than 500 medical certificates were issued after screening, it was informed. They left Nagaland after undergoing screening on Sunday.
They had been left stranded for over a month since the lockdown was announced, prohibiting any inter-state/inter-district movement.
