It’s been less than four months that A$AP Rocky is out of jail, and the controversial rapper has already bagged his first big live gig.

The “Goldie” hitmaker served over three weeks in jail after a controversial altercation with fans, following which he was convicted on assault charges. He is now set to return to the circuit with a concert in Sweden on December 11, reports variety.com.

“A$AP Rocky will be taking the stage at the Ericsson Globe on Wednesday, December 11th for a special headlining concert. After an outcry of support from his Swedish fans he will return to Stockholm to deliver a triumphant show for all his supporters. Additional Swedish artists to be announced soon,” and official announcement declared on Friday.

Tickets go on sale online on November 12, and the rapper has decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from the concert to a local charity in Sweden, known as FARR — the Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups. It is a grassroots volunteer organisation that works with asylum seekers, stateless people and refugees, defending their human rights through advocacy, legal advice, education and policy intervention, variety.com adds.

A$AP Rocky was given a suspended sentence after being convicted of assault, and he also paid a fine. Subsequently, he served around three weeks at a Swedish detention centre. A couple of members of his entourage were also convicted of assault by the court. “The assault has not been of such a serious nature that a prison sentence must be chosen,” the court said in a statement, adding: “The defendants are therefore sentenced to conditional sentences.”
