‘Dimapur Night Carnival a platform for local talents’

Dimapur, Dec. 15: The advisor to the Power department Tovihoto Aye is convinced that the annual Dimapur Night Carnival is one for local powerhouses and talents to showcase their strengths. He was addressing the crowd at the Dimapur Night Carnival during its fourth evening, at the Naga Shopping Arcade, in Dimapur on Sat. Dec. 15.
The legislator said that the carnival was an event he always looked forward to. He observed that the event was more of a festival like the Hornbill Festival. He remarked that the carnival, which is in its 6th year now, had grown ‘bigger and better.’
“The DNC is one platform where we give chance to youngsters in their endeavours, (and) to the artists and the entrepreneurs. And since day-one, we have witness a number of young artists and local artists getting an opportunity to exhibit their talents,” Aye said. The advisor urged the Dimapur people to support the carnival.
“The DNC has been consistent for six years in organising the carnival and therefore they should continue with this trend,” Aye said.
