ABCC Appreciates Efforts Towards Clean Election

On behalf of the Angami Baptist Church Council, I would like to thank everyone who has responded to the call of the church for clean election. At the moment, we are all processing what had just taken place with mixed feelings. I extend my deepest appreciation to all those who have chosen to do the right thing before God and fellow citizens. The present reality confirms that our battle for a fair society is far from over! In fact, we should now commit ourselves to be truthful and honest in all of our dealings and pray fervently for the “government” that will come up in the next few days that its leadership will dispense justice and fairness for all.
ABCC is deeply pained that Election, such as this, should snap away precious lives, and prays for God’s consolation to the bereaved ones. Our Naga society, birthed and nurtured in Christ, must grow and remain in Christ always. May God bless Nagaland.
