Kohima, Oct. 29 (EMN): The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) officials had a sitting with Phek Deputy Commissioner Kovi Meyase recently at his office chamber and discussed certain issues relating to the district.
According to CPO, agendas discussed were issues pertaining to the office running without the administrator like SDO ( C) Chizami, EAC Phor, EAC Khezhakeno and EAC Razeba and CPO asked the concern authority to post the above stated officials at the earliest as the people are suffering and the office have been functioning without its head in this sector.
The CPO officials also stressed the importance of a good special summary electoral revision that is going on and encouraged the administration to do its best to reach the most remote locations and also stated that it will assist the administration if the CPO is needed in this process.
The meeting also deliberated the issue on IBI and the CPO asked the concerned authority to keep vigil eye on IBI. The CPO officials thanked DC as the administration has already sounded alert on this issue.
CPO also thanked Phek DC Kovi Meyase and NST station superintendent Phek, Aviko Meyase for reintroducing the chopper service at Phek and asked the public to avail this service.
While appreciating the district administration for initiating inj checking the departments, the CPO also requested the department heads to be regular at their posting places.
