I learned of a woman-
A victim of her own man.
She weeps all day and night;
Cast forlorn in miserable plight,
Deprived of her joy & heart’s desire
O’ living as one till death ushers retire.
How’d he betray her!
Wasn’t enough her care,
And love and fond caresses?
He broke his avowed promises,
And laid ruin to his name & her trust,
Leaving their relationship & love to rust.
He gave into cruel acts,
And buried damning facts
With his lies in a vicious cycle;
Portrayed himself as being single
When the adulterous spirit took over,
And lust got satiated under dark cover.
All that was concealed
Have today been revealed
In the power of the holy spirit
Who digs out truth from liars’ pit;
Makes him taste his own bitter bile
Of lies that robbed his woman’s smile.
