Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): Holy Cross alumni 1982 batch has paid tribute to the founder of Holy Cross School, Dimapur, Fr. Felix who passed away on July 15, after a prolonged illness at the age of about 90 years at the Holy Redeemer in Chumukdima, Dimapur.
“Late Fr Felix, would never have thought that the small school he has established in the late 60’s at Church Road (now N.L.Road),would convert to one of the premier educational institution of Nagaland with alumnus spreading across the globe. Now the School is shifted to its present site and has also upgraded to Higher Secondary School with over 3000 students,” stated Ahidur Rahman, one of the batch member.
In 2016 when Holy Cross Higher Secondary School was celebrating its Golden Jublie, Fr. Felix on a wheel chair was brought to the Jublie function direct from his hospital bed and the lucky crossians both present and past had a glimpse of this great man, he added. On behalf of the Crossians across the globe, Rahman extended heartfelt condolences to the lost soul. He also expressed that his legacy would continue till the end of the world and many would continue to get the benefit of his sacrifice. He offered prayer for the departed soul to rest in peace with heavenly Father.
