Kohima, June 15 EMN : Power Comm keeps Morning Premier League title race alive with a win over MRH Sunrisers by 2-1 on Thursday morning, thus closing the gap with league leaders Medical XI by two points. Late goals from Micheal and Senpenlo secure the important points for Power Comm.
Playing at the Kohima local ground, both the team failed to convert any goal in the first half but saw three goals in 14 minutes time in the second half. Apong scored the first goal for MRH Sunrisers in the 66th-minute setup by Chuba. However, the lead was cut short as Micheal leveled the score in the 74 minutes and Senpenlo added the second goal in 80 minutes to seal the victory.
