Power Comm beat Amur Falcon FC

Kohima, April 21 (EMN): Power Comm defeated Amur Falcon FC 3-0 at the ongoing Morning Premier League on Friday morning at Kohima local ground.
The first half saw the better of Amur Falcon FC with ball possession but failed to pass the Power Comm goalie Kenyunlo who was kept busy. The goalie made much of the saves in the first half to boost the team spirit. Amur Falcon got their fair chance to find the net when Akum went one on one with the goalie but failed to score as the keeper managed to pull the ball away.
Amur Falcon continued to play their patient possession game but failed to threaten, and their complacency was punished three minutes before the break as Michael breached the defence to score a goal for Power Comm
Power Comm started the second half strongly and went further ahead in the 51st minute through Gum as he volleyed a goal from outside the d-box.
Amur Falcon with pressure failed to create much chance in the second half and the opponent goalie was kept quiet. Power Comm with their counter attack pulled another goal through Senpen, as Shwen played a through ball for him to score in the 73rd minute.
Power Comm also had numerous chances to score more goals but failed in their attempts. Senpen hit the woodwork again three minutes later and substitute Viposa also wasted an opportunity even though he came one on one with the keeper, he hit straight to the keeper. The match ended 3-0 in favour of Power Comm.
With the win, Power Comm remained in 5th place with 12 points and Amur in 6th with 9 points at the Morning League table.
