Assistant Commissioner, Bokajan, Karbi Anglong Saibur Rahman Barbhuiya as the chief guest at the 8th Summer Cup Cricket Tournament here at Balijan (A) open stage, Karbi Anglong, organised by Balijan Youth Club on Sunday, May 14.
He asked the players to bring pride to the country. This is the game where we have to forget our religion and language and come together and play the game and enjoy the game and keep the game spirit alive and most of all respect the game. He exhorted the players that they are all connected by one thread i.e. game, so whether the players are balling or batting respect each other as this respecting culture will carry you (players) to create a healthy society not only physical but mental too. He asked the players to play the game with full spirit and make this tournament/game beautiful.
