8th Frolic Cup: Sirhima, Fury and Ton FC register wins

Sirhima FC edged past Dolphin FC 2-1, while Fury FC trounced the Sechü Zubza Academy (SZA) 5-1, at the ongoing 8^th Frolic Cup, played at Medziphema local ground on Friday.

In the first match, Kikrukhrieto opened the lead for Dolphin FC when he found the net in the 6^th minute. However, Sirhima striker Sehgoulen dashed the hopes of their rivals with a brace in the 10 and 28^th minutes.

The second-half of the match witnessed a valiant fight put up by both sides, but at the end of the whistle, the scoreline stood at 2-1 in favour of Sirhima.

In the afternoon match, Fury FC made a head start as Surhosul scored a hat-trick in the 7^th, 25^th and 48^th minutes. His team mates Thanglenhao and Thulunso contributed a goal each in the 30^th and 35^th minutes, respectively.

The face-saving goal for SZA came in 37^th minute from the boots of Mhaphruovito Rhatu.

Meanwhile, Ton FC Molvom drubbed Kuki Youth &Students Union 4-0 in third match of the day. The goals for Ton FC came through the boots of Henkhohao (7^thminute), Jangvanglen (9^th minute), Ngamlensang (25^th minute) and Henkhao (51^st minute).
