DIMAPUR — The 6th Altrura Open Football Tournament 2024, organised by Altrura Society (AuS), will be held from August 23 to September 3 at Chümoukedima town local ground on the theme ‘Excellence: our goal.’
This year, the prize pool is over INR 2.5 lakh, a significant increase from previous years, the society informed in a press release.
The organising committee highlighted that the main objectives of the championship is to foster a love for sports, encourage healthy competition, and bring people together through our various events and initiatives.
“We invite all football teams, from local clubs to regional powerhouses, to participate in what promises to be a thrilling display of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. Spectators can look forward to exciting matches, a vibrant atmosphere, and a community united by the love of the game,” the release stated.
Issuance of forms and date of registrations will be intimated soon in the local dailies and social media platforms.
