59th TASA sports meet: Vevozo Rhakho, Kuvelu Medeo score hat tricks
Dimapur, Jan. 11 (EMN): The 59th meet of Tizu Area Sports Association (TASA) entered its third day at Tizü Area Sports complex, Khuza under Phek district on Wednesday.
The track and field events concluded on Wednesday with the medal tally topped by Chepoketa Sports Association with 11 gold, six silver, and 10 bronze, followed by Kutsapo Sports Association with eight gold, 11 silver, eight bronze, and Mutsale Sports Association with three gold, four silver and five bronze in third position.
In men’s football, Vevozo Rhakho of Khuza Village scored the first hat-trick of the tournament and in women’s football, the first hat-trick was scored by Kuvelu Medeo of Khuza village.
The weeklong tourney which began on January 9, will culminate on Jan. 14.
