4 Nagaland players awarded at NECDC Achievers Nite

DIMAPUR— Four players from Nagaland were awarded for their stellar performances for the season 2022-23, during the 8th North-East Cricket Development Committee (NECDC) conclave and second NECDC Achievers Nite hosted by the Cricket Association of Mizoram.

The 8th NECDC conclave and second NECDC Achievers Nite was graced by Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga, an update stated.

The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) delegation was led by its honorary secretary Anilo Khing, who accompanied by a host of officials and awardees from association.

The awardees are Hem Bahadur Chetri (best batsman in men’s U-23), Afzal Hussain Choudhury (best wicket-keeper in men’s U-23), Yugandhar Singh (best wicket-keeper in men’s U-19) and Najmeen Khatun (best batter in girls’ U-15).

The players were awarded for their brilliant performance throughout the BCCI domestic season 2022-23, it stated.
