31st Loyem Memorial Trophy from second week of October

DIMAPUR — The 31st edition of the annual Loyem Memorial Trophy, hosted by the Chang WedoshiSetshang (CWS) (Chang Students’ Conference), will begin in the second week of October at the Loyem Memorial Astro-Turf ground in Tuensang town.

According to a press release, this year’s edition will be hosted in collaboration with the Chang Sports Association (CSA). 

The winner of the tournament will receive INR 2,20,000, while the runners-up will get INR 1,20,000. 

INR 25,000 will be awarded to each semi-finalist and INR 5,000 to each quarter-finalist. As for the individual prizes, the best player will receive INR 20,000 and a trophy, while the winners of the golden-boot and golden-glove awards will receive INR 10,000 each. 

The registration for the tournament will begin on October 3, and the form will be available at the CWS office, the Olympic Store near ECS Tuensang, and Onrush Cave near the clock tower.
