WOKHA — In separate incidents, three people were reportedly drowned in the Doyang River in Wokha district on Thursday.
In the first incident, the body of a fisherman, in his late 30’s from Moilan village, was recovered by villagers on early Thursday morning.
In a separate incident on the same day, two individuals lost their lives while on a family picnic at a different location downstream of Doyang.
The deceased, identified as two males in their early 20s and mid-30s, are from Englan and Wokha villages, respectively.
