The 2nd Inter Ward Football Tournament, organized by Pfütsero Town Sports Association (PTSA), was held at Pfütsero Town local ground on September 24. The tournament was inaugurated by Director, Life Sports, Colo Mero as the chief guest.Addressing the players, Colo Mero underscored the importance of games and sports. He said that football is one of the most popular games across the world and added that blessed are those who are gifted with the talent of footballer. It is a gift you will not only enjoy but hundred and thousands of people can follow you and enjoy your talent, it is a game that everyone enjoys, he added. He encouraged the players who consider football as their profession to give their best to make a living out of football. He also urged the players to play in true sportsmen spirit and to take winning and losing in their strides. Learn to accept defeat gracefully, it is more difficult, it take more strength, more character to accept defeat & accept victory, he added.
The chief guest kicked off and witnessed the first match played between last year defending champion, Seed Farm Ward and Menyitsüda Ward. Altogether eleven (11) teams are competing for the trophy.
