1st Nagaland Inter-Collegiate Basketball Championship set to begin

Dimapur: The first Nagaland Inter-Collegiate Basketball Championship will start at 8 am today, Wednesday, at the JV foundation court, Signal, Dimapur.

A total of 10 men’s teams and four women’s teams representing various colleges will participate in the three-day tournament organised by the department of Youth Resources and Sports in collaboration with Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA).

An update from DDBA informed that Kohima Science College women’s team will take on Unity College Dimapur in the first match of the tournament.

Several colleges including Don Bosco College, Oriental College, Tetso College and St. Joseph University will be vying for the title.
