Six teams from six khels, with a total of 350 footballers are taking part in the league, where 80% of footballers are below 18 years of age, it said.

“The Chizami Football League is organised to provide platforms to young aspiring footballers and develop professional football at the grassroots level. The league will be played for around five months, which will give young players more playing time and confidence,” it read.
