Diphu, July 8 (EMN): In order to bring peace and tranquillity in the region IAS District magistrate of Karbi Anglong Adil Khan has issued prohibitory order under section 144 Cr.PC (Criminal Procedure Code) in the region on Friday. Under the notification it was mentioned that obstruction, picketing, procession in front of offices, public institution, public places, public undertaking, commercial establishment or any other places of public importance by forming an assembly of 5 or more persons or indulging in any other activities which may be distract public peace and tranquillity.
Carrying firearms and explosive substances of any nature which may cause injury or treat to other people. Use and throwing of fire cracker in the public places, road, bus station, and railway station etc. which may cause breach of peace and tranquillity among the public. Holding public meeting, rallies, procession, dharna in any public places without permission from district magistrate.
Forcible demand or collection of donation, shouting of slogan, writing and postering on walls, roads or public or private building vehicle, tree etc. inflammatory speeches, communal or anti-state/anti-national speech/ banner, poster wall writing etc., pillion riding on a two wheelers, use of loud speaker microphones etc. without permission.
