DIMAPUR — A total of 11 cadres belonging to Maj. Gen. (retired) Angmei-led NSCN/GPRN have joined the NSCN (IM) under the leadership of its general secretary, Th. Muivah.
An NSCN (IM)’s statement through its MIP stated that notwithstanding the existence of numerous groups that professed to be fighting for the Naga political cause, they expressed their desire to rededicate their spirit with renewed vigour to work under the bona fide political leadership NSCN general secretary, Th. Muivah, who is spearheading the Indo-Naga political talk at the highest level.
The cadres who have joined NSCN (IM) are A Khampei Opeiham, kilonser and centre executive member and chairman of Konyak region; CCM Lempha Wangsu; leacy Aleam Wangnao; leacy Langngam Wangsu; Capt. Nokngam Wangsu; 2nd Lieut. Aton Wangsu; Sgt. Maj. Apan Wangsa; Sgt. Phowang Konyak Wangsa; Corporal Wankap Wangsa; Corporal Aman Wangsa; and Corporal Nahpan Wangnao.
NSCN (IM) condoles
NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of 13 cadres, who have recently passed away.
The deceased cadres included Yaothing Khamrang, section officer under WTR; Ekonlumi Ezung, tatar and wife of late BC Ezung, former kilonser under Lotha region; AS Songam, leacy under WTR; Ds. Korung, leacy under Khurmi region; S Shameikang, razou peyu; Y Lutsutu Pochury, under secretary under Pochury region; Ramchim Tikhir, section officer under Saramati region; SThoru, razou peyu under Shepoumaramth region; Tsitingmong, tatar under USR; C Yongpithong, leacy under Saramati region; Private Yarthing Vashim, Naga army under WTR; Corporal Kito Aye, Naga army under Sumi region; and Major Solomon, Naga army under WTR.
NSCN (IM) has lauded their dedicated services and spirit of sacrifices for the cause of Naga political issue. It added that their names would be recorded in the pages of Naga history. It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace of the departed souls.
