DIMPAUR — A teenager was killed in a tragic accident involving two motorcycles at block 7, Thahekhu village in Dimapur, on Saturday night.
According to the police, the incident happened at around 7 pm on Saturday when a motorcycle, on which the victim was riding, collided with another one.
The rider and pillion rider of the other motorcycle involved in the accident were admitted to District Hospital Dimapur after sustaining severe injuries, while the 15-year-old boy, who was riding solo, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the healthcare facility, said the police.
Funeral service for the victim was held at the Multi-Purpose hall, DABA, in Duncan Dimapur on June 25, it was informed.
Meanwhile, the police said that a suo motu case has been registered at the Sub-Urban Police Station in connection with the incident.
