Zeme Baptist Church hosts cooking class in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The women department of Zeme Baptist Church, Kohima, conducted a one-day cooking class as part of their skill development activities at the church premises at Midland on Saturday.

The programme was organised with the purpose of enhancing their cooking skills with easy-to-make cuisines that everyone can prepare at home. It was also a time for participants to connect with one another through cooking and sharing recipes, according to a press release.

The resource persons for the event were Kekuyile Lunglang, Akule Ilunglung, and Mhonbeni Nsarangbe.

The members were trained to cook pork spare ribs, homemade mayonnaise, chicken chop suey, beef roast, and mixed vegetable curry. The salad selection included Greek salad, tuna salad, and Mexican quinoa salad.
