Zeme Baptist Church Kohima (ZBCK) organised a one-day workshop on baking with an objective to empower women economically
DIMAPUR — With an objective to empower women economically and encourage them to make use of their creativity, the women department of Zeme Baptist Church Kohima (ZBCK) organised a one-day workshop on baking at the church premises on May 27 on the theme “Digging deep into God’s gift of creativity.”
An update from ZBCK women department stated that the resource persons namely Dr. Asangla Jamir, Akule Ilunglung and Heugwalie, shared on baking and conducted hands-on practical session on baking variety of cakes such as butter cake, banana cake, éclairs cream and burger buns etc.
Altogether, 34 participants took part in the workshop.

The programme was chaired by Chiro Liegise, while an invocation prayer was said by the pastor of ZBC Kohima, Rev. Iringtie Kauring. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the chairperson of ZBCK women department, Angaule Nsarangbe.
