Dimapur, April 22 (EMN): For the first time ever, Lamhai Dungki Youth Organisation (LDYO) came together in unity to showcase talents and to evolve strategies in order to take the society forward.
About 400 hundred youth from Lamhai Dungki village today congregated near Dwakreu river for an annual get together where Personal Secretary to TR Zeliang, DAN Chairman and Advisor of Finance, Masangum was the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Masangum exhorted the youth to identify the God given talent among each of them and to nurture in order to excel in life. Stating that God has equally bestowed talent to each individual in different forms, Masangum said it should be their responsibility to nurture them and excel in life.

On the same note, Masangum said anyone failing to make use of the God given talent will be left behind and suffer in life adding missed opportunity will not return for second chance.

He also urged the youth to foster unity among themselves and neighbouring villages for progress in the society and come at par with other advanced tribes in the State.

On the occasion, he reminded the youth to shun jealousy, which according to him is a bane towards progress. Stating that jealousy has no cure, he said harbouring the same would only lead the society to destruction.

Further, he encouraged the members to organise more of such programmes in order to build friendship and promote unity. He has also assured to organise the same in the coming year on a larger scale.

Renowned artiste from Peren district Namkamlak was the guest singer. He enthralled the members with his presentation.
