Dimapur, April 4 (EMN): Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton on Monday congratulated Nagaland Police team for securing the runner-up trophy at the recently concluded Bordoloi Trophy.
An update from the media cell of the deputy CM stated that Nagaland Police has produced good sportspersons over the years and hoped that they will scale to greater heights through hardwork and persistent practice.
He also lauded the young spirited player, Neithuvilie Chalieu for securing the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
On behalf of the department, Patton congratulated all the players and support staff for their outstanding achievement and hoped that with the establishment of the sports battalion envisioned by the chief minister, they will perform even better in the days to come.
