Workshop on “quality management standards and quality technology tools at NBRC, Dimapur

The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce (FCCI) in collaboration with Indian Institute of
Entrepreneurship (IIE) supported by Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency has organized a one day workshop on “Quality Management Standards and Quality Technology Tools (QMS/QRR) at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Dimapur on February 11. The workshop was conducted under the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Program (NMCP) under MSME, Govt. of India. The workshop was organized to enable manufacturing sectors to be competitive through maintaining quality management standards and quality technology tools relevant to help medium and small enterprises relating to bamboo and cane sector in the North Eastern Region of the country. The program was chaired by Er. Jonaed Alam, Project co-ordinator, FICCI. Er. Lipongse Thongtsar, Dy. Team Leader, NBDA delivered the key note address. The resource person for the workshop was Er. Dipanjon Konwar, Visiting faculty to Department Of Management, Guwahati University. Principal Consultant & Certified Auditor Quality Management System ISO 9001-2008. The workshop was attended by entrepreneurs and representatives from various related departments.
