Who Will Be Blamed?

India is already in a deep trouble of rapid population growth, unemployment, poverty and Internal violence. Imagine what would happen when millions of refugees are added to the nearly 1.37 billion current Indian population? Is will be absolutely disastrous than we expect it to be. On one hand, Central Govt is working on formulating Population Control Law (which is expected to be tabled in the Parliament soon), while on the other hand, they are opening the country’s door and inviting millions of refugees. It is totally Incomprehensible.

Coming back to our kitchen, It is deeply painful to see that our own elected MPs of Nagaland had voted in favour of the CAB In both the Houses of Parliament. I’d never expected that! I thought nothing less than repealing of the Bill would make us soft. It is just an Appeasement Policy of the NIP to exempt us from CAB because we are under ILP regime. When things take U-turn tomorrow and the idea that we are protected by the ILP is repealed, who will be blamed? We are safe today does not at all mean we will be safe tomorrow. It may not affect us immediately but definitely it will.

God save Nagaland!
