Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) organised a ‘Leaders’ motivational talk’ on July 20, at Theja Fort in Dimapur. Leaders Arise Nagaland (LAN) founder and Overseas Naga Association (ONA) Initiator, Rev. Luoliehu Yimsung was the resource person for the programme.
Yimsung gave a presentation on “Alliance-Biblical Perspective”, and spoke on “good leadership roles,” informed WCH in a press release. He also encouraged “nurturing alliance/partnership within society, tribes, politics, work place, based on truth, vision, confidence, prayer, brotherhood and mutual respect” and urged the leaders to stick to Bible principles or Godly guidance.

Dietho Rhakho, President of WCH, while addressing the programme said that “reformation on work culture, family and society is the need today”. “We talk about society cleansing but everybody’s business has become nobody’ business. Corruption, mob culture, tribalism, degrading matrimonial and family values, abuse of power, easy living mentality etc… has become ordeal of the day. Reformation must start with leaders and positive mindset need to be installed,” he added.

The programme comprised of attendees including MLA Kuzholuzo Neinu, President of Nagaland Pensioners Association SK Kenye, member of collective leadership NSCN (IM) Nepfüpe Venue, Kilonsers from Unification Camp along with “WCH officials, village/unit chairman, GBs, VDB Secretaries, WCH Frontal Leaders, Pastors & Youth Directors, Unit level Presidents/Secretaries of Women, Youth & student bodies including leaders from State political parties and Naga National workers.” informed the update.

Neipfupe Venue told the gathering that “only people with good moral character and having good intention for community interest should be chosen as leaders”. He further appealed to “the community to remain united.”
