UPSC launches toll-free helpline number for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD candidates

Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened a Helpline number with an objective to assist the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), who have applied or are intending to apply for the commission’s examinations or recruitments.

Candidates belonging to the mentioned categories can contact the UPSC officials on the dedicated toll free number 1800118711 for assistance if they face any difficulty in filling up the application form of any examination, recruitment or for any queries concerning the Commission’s examinations or recruitments.

The Commission informed through a notice that the Helpline will be operational on all working days (during the office hours) to help the candidates share their queries with the officials in a friendly manner.

The initiative was initiated as part of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebration to commemorate the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence.
